Is the bible an action packed horror, thriller, drama and porno all tied into one?
Yes it is. I have heard this referred to as "wart's and all" history, meaning that the bad as well as the good is recorded. Remember, King David had a man killed so he could Bonk the dead guy's wife. And don't forget, the reason he was so hot for her was because he stayed behind while his troops were at war and spent the nights peeking at the wife while she was taking a bath.
If I was writing my own history, I'd probably have the scribe omit this part.
