Baby Bible Abc

wrote a sitcom...now what!!!?

Ok I created this sitcom, wrote the bible and pilot..copywrite it, register, etc. It is a witty, tight, sitcom with the simple structure and great charracters such as a friends or cheers, ect.
i was gona wait to get a literary agent when i wrap up my 5 feature screenplays im working on, and give it to them the, but i mentioned to a freind who has production company in LA about my show, he told some network people and the next day he had a meeting set up with NBC, they loved the idea and got good feedback. by monday ABC, NBC, and CBS all had my tv pilot. that was a month ago, my bud said we have to wait for the greenlight it they will option it. I'm a first time writer, but i am pretty, witty, and easy to work with. will they try to buy it off of me or is it possible i can receive creator credit and attatch self as one of the producers and writing staff. It's my baby and I want to work in the industry forever, I would love to work with a fab. show runner and learn is that possible???

I believe they will purchase the rights to your sitcom but give you credit for the series creation. I'm not sure if it always works that way but my understanding with alot of SciFi movies and series, credit is given to creators and current writers for the show.
