Voted one of Christianity Today's 1995 Books of the Year! To understand and apply the Bible well, you need two crucial sources of information. One is the Bible itself. The other is an understanding of the cultural background of the passage you're reading...

How Do We Know That Everything In The Bible Is True?

The Old and New Testiment.

I guess being raised in a "non religious" background, I need more "facts" to believe sometime is real.

Can anyone help?

Look up Lee Stroebel. He's a former Atheist and has written several books on the topic.
The Bible says if you earnestly seek the truth you will find it. So pray to God with what little faith you have, even no faith. If you think that if there is a God that God could be a loving God so much that he would send his Son, then that's all you need. God gives us the Holy Spirit to show us the truth.

When I first accepted Christ, I confessed to God when I prayed that I had no faith that I knew of. I said "I only have enough faith just to say this prayer", and I saw that Jesus loved me, so I responded by this prayer.
That's how much faith it takes. Then after that you receive the Holy Spirit, and it grows.
Let me explain.
Jesus said "Whoever does not believe is condemned already because light came into the world, and they preferred darkness rather than the light." So if you prefer the light - meaning want to be free from sin, free from the guilt and shame of sin, and want to know about God, then you are seeking the light, not darkness. So you can become a believer based on your preference of the light or the darkness.
