How come only people in the Mid East act like what the bible says in certain parts?
like the men/women thing. It seems only the Mid East acts like they are supposed to since men are the image of God but women are the image of men. They actually act like that over there.
So why does only the East act like how the bible says but not the West?
I'd guess it seems this way because of the very same reason that most things "seem" a certain way to someone: your seeming agrees with your own previously-established beliefs on the matter. If you were to read the bible, I think you would find that it does not at all describe the role of women in society as you seem to suggest. Then, of course, is the tremendous difference seen between Middle Eastern nations. Compare, for example, Egypt to Israel to Jordan to Saudi Arabia to Turkey. Women have *extremely* different cultural roles in those countries - showing a range of roles from very much like the West all the way to a very conservative Islamic role.
So why evidence gives you reason to believe that your fantasy might resemble reality?
