Is the bible real important to spiritually evolve?

I've been checking out the Veda's the bhagavad gita, the upanishad, the koran,nueroscience, physics, anatomy, chemistry, biology, acoustics, astronomy, computer programming, self-help books, hemi-sync, modern technology, various musicians, several poets, numerous novelists...and actually understand alot more about my spirituality than the bible could do alone. Of course I read it, but it is a sin not to explore further.
It would be like saying the rest of the world is foolish for having different beliefs. People know what personal testimonies of love, truth, and surrendering to a higher power is.
This is not a serving 2 different master's opinion.
Can you answer the top question and be able to justify it with proof? jesus and god want you to learn about this magnificent and wonderful world.
They want you to see this place as heaven already.
Would you know heaven if you even saw it. or was inhabiting it.

It depends on which path you wish to take. I'd be wrong to tell you I'm a christian, but also wrong to tell you that I wasn't one before. In my experience, there are two paths you can take. One, inheritance and biblethumping. These poor people know nothing outside christianity except for what they see on TV. They often make other religions and their practitioners, such as I, resent the religion, only because so many of the people following it are of that variety.
The second, being my obvious preference, would be the more spiritual path. Learn about other religions, other places, people, belief systems, everything your little grubby hands can lay hold to. Not saying your hands are grubby. Metaphor. At any rate, learn, and then decide. Is this god right? If he's right, then I should serve him to the best of my abilities. And NEVER fear hell, no matter what I do. Is he wrong? If he's wrong, I should serve one of his various relatives, because from my research there seems to be a certain bond between every religion. And that's the morals. Some gods make minor alterations, but for the most part, they're the same tht everyone should follow. If I choose to follow one of God's relatives, such as possibly Siddharta gautama, or maybe even Inari, or Amaterasu, then he won't hate me. I'll live as well as I can under them as well, and either way, things will turn out fine.

The most important step, of course, would be the end. Know that only YOU can decide where you go. Doors will open and close depending on what you do, of course, but only YOU have the choice of outcome.
