do we have any historical prove of jesus beyond the bible?
herod supposedly ordered the deayhs of thousands of children born at the time of [jesus ].there is no historical records except the bible .mickey mouse did not exsist till walt disney put him on the map .in the same way jesus did not exsist till the bible was written .do we have proof that jesus did exsist or merely the bible as the sole source of evidence.Is all thats written about jesus suspect and so as we dismiss the devinci code so should we also dismiss the bible as a work of fiction .In the case of the bible it deliberetly cheats people of there property and money each sunday.
I don't know how to answer your question because I have never doubted the existence of Jesus - physically or spiritually. But I do know my opinion on the Bible being a work of fiction... Think about it this way for a second : Why would the writers of the Bible put so much work into it if it were a work of fiction? Why would men die for their belief in Jesus if he weren't 'real'?
