Christians: do you find the contradictions or impossible myths more confusing in your bible?
If you don’t think there are contradictions or impossible myths in your bible then you are suffering from a mildly debilitating mental illness – denial. You need to be careful because, though denying clear and present reality to maintain a religious delusion is only mildly debilitating, it often escalates into a more serious mental condition. This more serious condition can culminate in the sufferer committing acts of unspeakable horror. But I was just wondering what you find most confusing about your bible?
what i find confusing -
atheists hold science and human reason in such high esteem.
yet quantum theory and relativity are incompatible and contradictory.
but somehow atheists are able to make absolutely categorical statements about the nature of reality.
impossible myth, how about abiogenesis? or the idea that nothing exploded for no reason and made everything?
but the bible does the impossible. it wrote the future before it happened. israel is back as a nation, exactly on time, written beforehand. not confusing to me.
