Bible Devotional Books
Christians please: how often do you read you bible? Can you recommend a good daily devotional?
when you read it do you read like a chapter or two a day? or do you read like the whole book of John and then take several months off?
Anyway, I was wondering because I haven't read mine in a long time and I wonder does it really help to read it over and over? I used to read it alot about 3 years ago and before that....but have really slacked off of it for about 3 yrs.
I stopped reading it when I got a divorce and none of my prayers were answered to save my marriage and all my efforts were cast asside...I figured praying was a waste of time at that point...until a week ago when my neighbor prayed for me and the prayer was answered...then I thought I might give it another shot.
