Bible Interlinear Translation
Is the New World Translation Accurate?
(Colossians 1:16, NWT) Because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him.
Why would you say all other things were created, because a reading of the original text will read differently. To illustrate this, your Kingdom Interlinear Bible says this as the literal translation:
"Because in him it was created all (things) visible and the things invisible, weather thrones or lordships or governments or authorities; the all (things) through him and into him it has been created."
Why do you insert the word other into the text to make it appear as if Jesus was a created being, when there is no hint of it in the original text?
Not if you are a follower of Jesus.
They changed it to fit more to their Doctrine.
They go out of their way to make Jesus less than he is.
They may pray "In Jesus' name" but, they deny him.
I was a JW. I was wrong.
