Was the historical Jesus a Jewish Apocalypticist?
I've read books and taken courses on the historical Jesus (meaning, not the "divine", miracle working Jesus). It seems that most biblical scholars and critical historians believe that the historical (real, living and breathing) Jesus was a Jewish Apocalypticist.
Do other Christians accept this view? Have you studied the bible using the historical-critical method?
i think so. i've been told that he is mentioned in the quran as a prophet not as savior. it seems that jesus christ existed but the christians really got carried away. virgin birth i think not.
