Bible Study Workbook
Does anyone know of any good bible study guides?
I've been trying to read the bible all the way through by reading just about 15 minutes every night. But I've been want a book that will go along with the bible, giving insight to it, asking questions about some scriptures, stressing different points, or by giving different facts - kind of like a day-by-day study guide or workbook. Does anyone know a good book like this for a college student?
Thanks for your help!
~I have already looked on different websites, and have found some, but I want to know which books you like.
~Don't leave any atheist comments please
Myself i like studying in the Bible in topics. I found that to read it through in a "chore" a religious duty and not near as enjoyable. I found that a book writing on the subject (whatever the subject) is helpful, But then again you may end up with someone Else's interpreting of the Bible and we are all subject to mistakes. THe Bible says hold God true and every man a liar. (Rom. 3:4) So you cannot know ahead of time if a person is trying to start or add to his cult by his teachings. That is why i follow no man no doctrine no religion. I follow Jesus Christ and i trust the verse that says HIs Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth. (John 16:13) And all truth that pertains to life and Godliness is found in the Bible (2nd Peter 1:3)
With all that said i am found of a book called Spirit soul & body By Andrew Wommack. A fair amount of the book is taught on his website (2008 archives, titled spirit soul & body...under TV broadcast) but there is more scriptures and more info in the book.
