Bible Verse Calendar

How does the rest of the world view the US and our religions and Judicial system?

Are other countries more religious than the US? For the people who do follow religion, do they worship more correctly than US or are there beliefs as flexible as the US? How do other countries treat Atheists? Is more tolerated in other countries? My home town schools still have first graders bringing home calendars with bible verses on them. My child is 3, and will start school soon. I am to scared to say anything about it because in the mostly chrisitian school they will treat her differently if I try to change it. I wonder how many other kids feel bad because of it. It is almost an all christian town, so maybe I should just keep my mouth shut.

The rest of the world is a big place full of individuals, so I can only speak for the apparent perception of the average Brit (if there is such a thing)

Opinion on America is mostly divided in Britain. Many tend to view America as some kind of corporate-mega-church pseudo-culture, a Disney version of Mammon, full of greed and brash arrogance, poor education etc...while others just love the whole Disney and Big Mac thing, even if they don't trust the talking head$.

I've lived in both the UK and the US, and I find many qualities about either populace to be endearing, and many annoying. I couldn't generalise too much.

I find America to be a place of extremes.
