does God listen to our prayers?
I am confused.. I read in the bible that only evil doers asked jesus to show a sign that he is the messiah.. In my prayers I have asked God to show me he is listening and hearing my prayers in some way. like problems with my zipper of my jeans.. a few days later after i took them out of the dryers I had problems with my zipper.. I asked also one day to show me a bird.. a bird came and pirched on a tree very close and stayed
and chirped.... is it OK to ask him to show me a sign he is listening like that?
What you are doing is throwing out a fleece. You wouldn't be praying if you actually thought God didn't hear you. He hears your prayers without this. I'm guessing that maybe you are a fairly new follower of Christ. I did throw out a fleece when I was and isn't He wonderful to confirm for us that He is there, knowing our weaknesses. I haven't done this in a long time, but I don't think it is a necessary action. Just keep the failth that you have, grow in it and you are going to be one of the Lord's great prayer warriors. We Need You!
