Yes it is very good and of course you also have to use other resources like books, websites etc
just keep in mind that the way of speaking in the Bible is very formal, it's fine but it's too formal, either way it's totally acceptable to use it as an alternative to improve your Spanish
(and don't pay attention to the people who say that "the way of speaking in the Bible is no longer used" actually about 90% of the whole way of speaking is currently used and it's perfectly understandable as it respects the grammar and spelling to the utmost)
the people who say such thing is obviously because they don't really know the Bible, they never read it in depth.
