We're Jewish and having debates on if we should have a tree?
Our daughter is only 6 months old, so we're not going to bother this year. But it sparked a debate about if we should have a tree in the future or not.
My step-mom is a catholic so we had a tree and did Christmas and all that for her and her son, but also had Hanukkah. We are doing Hanukkah every year with our family but I don't want my daughter to feel left out. I remember liking the tree when I was a kid.
I was thinking of getting a tree and using blue and white lights and blue ornaments. We still have a year to debate it more. I was wondering what others think.

I don't have non-Jewish relatives. Just a step family that's Catholic. Both of our families are all jewish.
Well, trees were brought in from German practice, which comes from pagan ideas. Christmas trees are not really Christian, but were borred.
