Catholic Commentary Old Testament
Why is Hebrew and Greek language not taught in churches? At least a little?
Since it is true that he Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew, and the New Testament was written in Greek, why then wouldn't a Christian church seek to impart in the most accurate way at least some scripture?
I visited a Catholic church for a year or two and heard Latin at mass but didn't know what was being said.
I think I would have enjoyed knowing.
All answers, comments and commentary welcome.

Why is there no motivation to learn these languages?

Ray W- TY. Actually, I am writing a book and I'm guessing I will need to learn some of both of these languages. I'm looking forward to it!
People might get ahold of copies of the old manuscripts and realize how much the bible was edited and changed.
