KJV

And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
which is the correct version?
the NIV says jesus father which is god, and the KJV says Joseph who is not jesus father.
oh i thought jesus was the son of god, how can joseph be the father if mary was a virgin?
they are totally different meanings.

Presumably the father and mother of the child would be either Mary and Joseph or Mary and god.
"And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things.."
Would mean Joseph and Joseph's mother.
How strange.
