Where in the NT there is written: "You are worms" or something similar?
I have this passage in my mind since years and always thought that Jesus (or Paul?) said it to the Apostles to remind them that human kind is vanishing little in comparison to God. However, in spite of my concordance and the search engine in my electronic bible, I can't find this passage. Can anyone confirm that my memory is playing tricks on me?
You are likely thinking of Isaiah 41:14, where God refers to Jacob (whose name was changed to Israel i.e. "prince that prevails with God") as a worm.
Note that the 10 lost tribes of Israel were taken captive by Assyria and considered "lost" by historians. NOT SO !!! They travelled north over Caucasses Mountains, calling themselves caucasians and anglo-saxons (saxon = Issacs sons), settled Europe as the celts, vikings, norms, and other groups, and eventually migrated to north America, founding the nation that trusts in God. Jeremiah 31:29-33 predicted true Israel would become the Christian nations of the world, and so it is. God scattered Israel for idolatry and likens Israel to a harlot in book of Hosea. Sadly, children of a harlot don't know their special identity or who their Father is.
