Experience Bible
Spiritually speaking, did you learn not to touch a fire from the bible or from instruction/experience?
I guess does the bible have all of the answers to life or was it meant to get you started on your journey?
to give you the basics while you learn everything else from experience?
I ask because I think some people use the bible as an excuse to be close-minded. My argument is that you cannot do that, you have to apply wisdom gained through life too.
God has all the answers to life. The Bible is not an instruction book.Our Bible teaches us about Christ and about his life.In the Bible we also learn the history of our past from the very beginning of creation. The Bible also teaches us what God expects from us. It tells us what we should not do. We learn most of our lessons through experience.God only gives us the tools to help us in life. If we choose to act on our own, without consideration of morals, we might get burned.
