Illustrated Bible Stories
What lesson in the bible can i use to illustrate for my daughter the importance of spending time with God?
My daughter is two and a half and i was trying to teach her through song or story that we should spend private time with God...she wanted to go into a room with her grandmother who was spending her time with God...i tried to explain and she kind of understood but wants to know more...plus we do home lessons on sundays so i thought it would be a good lesson for the day...thanks and be blessed in all you do.
For starters i asked for help not smart remarks about how you think i should go to church...jesus said come to me when you are thirsty and i will give you water...i go to jesus...not religion...religion causes war...religion causes divorce...i am not religious...i am a follower of jesus christ...but i do go to church sometimes to...today we are not so i thought it would be good to teach her on this since it came up...thanks for all the answers so far.
Good question,
My suggestion would be when Jesus said let the children come to Him. Tell her that Jesus wants her to talk to Him, wants her to know Him and that He loves her so much that He is listening to her when she does talk.
