does the word beer actually exist in the NiV bible? who put it there? did it exist in the old testament?
did it exist in the old testament before christianity existed and the new testament?
the word beer does it exist in any bible in our generation.?
does it go against the nazarite vow to drink beer, or is the nazarite vow only about hard liquor and strong wine?
In the NIV, the word beer appears in the following verses: 1 Samuel 1:15, Proverbs 20:1, 31:4, 31:6, Isaiah 24:9, 28:7, 29:9, 56:12, Micah 2:11. I would imagine it was put in there by those who translated it. These are all Old Testament scriptures. As far as I know, the Nazirite vow included avoiding the fruit of the vine in all forms and not cutting ones hair, but I am not a scholar and do not know what else it entailed. God bless you.
