Scofield Bible Nkjv
Christians: What is your favorite version of the Bible?
What Bible translation do your read? (i.e. NIV, NASB, ESV, KJV, NKJV, NLT, RSV, ASV, NRSV, etc)
Why do you like this translation?
What are some other translations that you like? Dislike?
Do you use some sort of study bible? If so, which one? (i.e. Scofield, Life Application Study Bible, etc)
Okay, I'm not asking for favorite bible verses. Please read the question.
Wow, lots of Jehovah's Witnesses. Actually, the NWT is the worse translation of the Bible I have ever come across. Bad translation of the Greek...heavily biased against the divinity of Jesus. I'm a former JW by the way, now a born-again believer. NIV is my preferred version.
I would not say version of the Bible. I have many translations and they all tell the same message when they are done well. NWT is a perversion of the Bilbe.
I like NIV
