Is there a reason why I have the urge to read the bible lately?
For the past two weeks I've had this urge to read the bible. Has this happened to anyone else before? I am not really religious, because the bible sounds like some fairytale. I feel guilty saying that, but it's weird to me how God made humans from plain dirt, etc. Can someone help me out? The bible is also hard to understand.
maybe god has something specific he wants you to read. that's one of the many forms in which he speaks to people. as for not understanding the bible that well, try reading another version. i use a fire bible. at the bottom half of every page it explains what the bible is saying. it also has some pretty good devotionals in there too.
