Study Bible Niv Women

What kind of bible should I get?

Does it matter what kind of christian you are? What if I don't go to church? and Im interested in the NIV that I've been hearing about. But I've seen so many types and kinds of NIV some are for like women and I've seen some that comes with a study or something or other. No one has actually broke things down to me about the bible. Im learning all by myself and I have been to church but there are too many things I don't feel comfortable with. So I decide not to go. What should I do or Where should I buy a bible and that's not to expensive and how much do you think it will cost? I appreciate all your answers Thanks!

The "King James Study Bible Nelson Edition". You can always go to:

In the search window put in: King James Study Bible, a whole bunch are going to come up. The next thing you want to do is go to the window that has the words, "Best Match", you want to change that to " Lowest to Highest". That's going to change the order of the books and start them out with the lowest costing to the highest.

Go to the 3rd row, the 2nd from the left and click on that one. It only cost $23.99, but it's a hard cover. Your leather Bible cost anywhere from $49 on up. I paid I think $49 for mine roughly four years ago.

I've stayed away from the NIV simply because if you read the end of the Bible, this is what it says:

Revelation 22:19
"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

What that means to me is this, all of these different interpretations floating around out there are to far away from Gods message to us. The King James Version has been around since 1611 and a lot of souls have been saved with that version as compared to the others.

Not only that, but when you change several words you're giving it a completely different meaning.

What the scholars have written at the bottom of the page in the Study Bible will definately help you to understand. I also suggest you say a prayer before you start to read. Simply ask God to help you understand His Word, and He will.

And one more thing. Find a non-denominational church to go to. You don't have to [ pick ] a religion. You've already given your heart to God, that's the most important thing.

One more thing on the NIV, NKJV, MNSAB, and whatever all of the new ones are. You said, "I heard the NIV is a lot easier to understand. And more for this [era]."

Yes, times do change. But God doesn't nor does His Word.
