A question for those who believe that women should wear dresses/skirts...?
I know that for most of you, the main reason behind this the Old Testament saying that men and women are not to share clothing.
But there are many of you who believe that skirts and dresses are simply more modest, also. My question is especially for you.
Essentially, if you take the most modest pair of pants and the most modest dress, the only difference between the two is that the inner thighs are covered with pants and are NOT covered in a dress.
^therefore, how are dresses more modest than pants? And with such a HUGE focus in the Bible regarding sex, lust, women's roles, and modesty, well, just why would women not wear some sort of pant-variant rather than a dress?

Pants tend to be form-fitting and leave little to the imagination as far as the shape of a woman's body goes. Dresses and skirts flare out so that a woman's figure is hidden underneath. So even if they technically cover less skin, they still conceal the body more.
