As a Catholic I dont entirely agree I am tone deaf and have trouble with womens voices I am sorry Can that be cured? I would have to go along with 50-50 but in the Waikato I think they get there fair share Maybe a lot of countrys are different and did they are ask the congregations?
I would read it out of the missal. I am sorry you are tone deaf, have you seen a specialist and I can not promise you can be cured. In my Parish we have men and women lectures read. I would mention this to your priest and maybe the women can do something to help. Maybe lower the tone in their voice, talk a little deeper.?!
