Matthew 10:27 . Should we as Christians be more active like JW's & Mormons?
Matthew 10:27......What I tell you in darkness you must speak in the daylight, and what is whispered in your ear you must shout from the housetops.

Luke 12:3 "Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Acts 5:20 "Go, stand and speak to the people in the temple the whole message of this Life."
Commentary
what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops-Give free and fearless utterance to all that I have taught you while yet with you. Objection: But this may cost us our life? Answer: It may, but there their power ends
Is the commentary correct ?
Does this mean as Christians we should do more to spread the words of Jesus that talk about if if we cet the chance ?
Should we be more active like the Jehovah's Witnesses & Mormons ?
What do you make of this bible verse ?
Can you add any relevant scripture or comment ?
Should not ALL Christians follow Jesus' commandment to preach the good news of God's Kingdom?
(Matthew 28:18-20) And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “ALL authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. . 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
Should we listen to Jesus or Pope or Priests? Who has the authority to tell us what to do? Was it not Jesus that received ALL the authority from his Father, Jehovah, to command all his disciples to preach? Who are we (Christians) following? Imperfect man or Jesus the son of God? All Christians (false and true Christians alike) had heard of Jesus the son of the Almighty God. Has anyone heard of the Almighty God's name Jehovah?
Romans 10:11-15: For the Scripture says: “None that rests his faith on him will be disappointed.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for there is the same Lord over all, who is rich to all those calling upon him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” 14 However, how will they call on him in whom they have not put faith? How, in turn, will they put faith in him of whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach? 15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written: “How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”
How long should we put in our times for the disciple making activity? 1 or 2 years or 5 years max? Not at all, EVERYONE should continue sharing this disciple making work their whole lives. We serve God and his son Jesus, not ourselves when we dedicated ourselves by water baptism, we vowed to God that we gave our lives to do his will; that we live no longer for ourselves but for God.
So, is it doing God's will too difficult for us imperfect humans? I'll let the Bible answer that question in 1 John 5:3-4:
"For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are NOT burdensome, 4 because everything that has been born from God conquers the world. And this is the conquest that has conquered the world, our faith."
Can faith alone be good enough? Well you need work to prove your faith do you not?
James 2:24-26: YOU see that a man is to be declared righteous by works, and not by faith alone. 25 In the same manner was not also Ra′hab the harlot declared righteous by works, after she had received the messengers hospitably and sent them out by another way? 26 Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.
